Learn Dilruba/ Tanti Saaj
Livtaar is launching a programme to learn string instruments for students which will be sponsored by a GurSikh through Livtaar
Livtaar is committed to reviving this rich heritage of Gurmat Sangeet and the use of traditional string instruments as outlined in the prescribed format of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Livtaar has taken an initiative with the help of sponsors to provide these traditional instruments exclusively for Livtaar learners dedicated to learning Gurbani Kirtan.
Guidelines for Learners
Learners must commit to using the Dilruba exclusively for performing Gurbani Kirtan, by enrolling through Livtaar for Dilruba Sponsorship Program
Learners are required to provide regular updates on their progress to Livtaar
If the learner discontinues training, the Dilruba must be returned to Livtaar to ensure its continued use for its intended purpose.
This initiative aims to uphold the sanctity of Gurmat Sangeet, inspiring the next generation to embrace and sustain its spiritual and musical traditions.

We were brought up in a household with a passion for music and where the love and appreciation for Gurbani Keertan was inculcated in us from a very young age. In this era where most of us have drifted away from our roots and cultural heritage, Gurbani Keertan was something that helped keep us tethered to not only our culture but also to the almighty Akal Purakh. During the pandemic 2020 we were disheartened to see that most of the regular ongoing classes for gurmat sangeet at the gurudwaras closed down with people having no other alternatives. This gave us the drive to do something about this and that is how Livtaar was born.
At Livtaar we believe that the opportunity to learn Keertan is for everyone irrespective of financial status. Hence feel free to reach out to us if you need any fee waiver with a genuine reason.
Wishing you all the best as you start your musical journey with us…
